A 17th century former manor house at the top of Haworth Main Street, the Kings has an L-shaped bar area with six hand pumps. The pub is on two levels with a separate quieter area to the rear. It is pleasantly decorated with pale painted wood panelling, some exposed stone work and timber and tiled/laminate flooring. Outside seating area. Music events and open mic evenings. Open Bank Holiday Mondays.
Historic Interest
17th century. In 1841 Enoch Thomas, a friend of Branwell Bronte, was the Innkeeper. The current private rooms upstairs were home to the Manorial Courts, whilst the local undertaker used the cellar as a mortuary.
