This Pub is Closed Long Term

Currently closed, future uncertain, due to development work in area. A step away from the harbour and marina, this quaint pub, designed in the style of a harbourmaster's house, was named after the leader of the raid on Whitehaven in 1778, when his crew went into the town and got drunk instead, - the story is told here: http://www.whitehavenandwesternlakeland.co.uk/johnpauljones/raid.htm
