This historic 18th century coaching inn has had its interior much improved in recent years and is now smart and cosy with large open fireplaces and a separate snug off the main bar. There is a dining room at the back offering traditional meals using local ingredients. There are two Wadworth beers available, plus their seasonal guests. There is accommodation upstairs and in a new separate block making this a popular B&B destination. Food served everyday.

Historic Interest

Believed to have been built in 1604, with cellars that are much earlier, the Antelope was first mentioned in 1609. The present inn dates from 1765.
