Multi-roomed traditional pub close to town centre. The large terrace and garden at the rear of the pub is popular with both local clientele and with boaters from the Trent & Mersey Canal at the bottom of the garden. Beers typically come from Mobberley, St Austell or Timothy Taylor with one or two available depending on the time of the year. Darts are played, live sport is sometimes shown and dogs are made very welcome.
