Friendly street corner pub in centre of village. Traditional decor and furnishings, on the walls there are old pictures and photographs of the village and historial maps of the area.

Historic Interest

Originally a school house, by 1861 the building had become the Hooton Arms. The old photo shows the pub in 1909. An Anchor Brewery (later Birkenhead Brewery) pub selling Whitbread beers in the 1980s.
