Busy urban corner local with an L-shaped main bar, decorated with Cambridge themed art, photos and posters. Simultaneously the first and last pub in the Romsey town area of Cambridge. Beer garden at the rear which leads on to a garden room with a colourful mural of the eponymous Earl. Additional outdoor seating at the front of the pub.

Having been closed for 15 months, the pub reopened on 22 January 2026.
