Formerly a village bank, this micropub opened in late 2012. It consists of a single room with a short bar that was rescued from a closed Cambridge pub. The walls are decorated with photos of local interest. A wide range of beers are available, two direct from the cask and six from KeyKeg or from keg. Beers are mostly sourced from interesting small breweries, some may be locally brewed. There is also a fridge well-stocked with cans and bottles. The ciders are bottled but may also be kegged. Each Saturday, 5-8, changing food vans park nearby.
The Bank offers a warm welcome and the casual visitor is certain to be included in local conversation. It does more for the local populace now than it ever did as a bank.
After running the pub for a year, the five person team took full control in March 2026.
The Bank now holds Sunday Socials, 1-5pm, once a month, towards the end of the month. Check social media for details.
