The White Horse occupies a fine old building in the village's former market area. The public bar is a true classic with its polished tiled floor, beamed ceiling, wood-paneling and elevated fireplace. The large lounge bar with dining area was once a separate property and the pool and function rooms behind the public bar are also later additions. Beyond them is a large garden with play equipment. The locally sourced, home cooked food ranges from sandwiches, snacks, pizzas and burgers to hearty mains and desserts. Sunday lunch.

New licensees arrived in October 2021.
