Bustling pub acting as a surrogate waiting room to the railway station opposite for thirsty travellers. Recently refurbished with the number of hand pumps reduced to three. Two regular beers along with a revolving guest from Pig and Porter. In addition to Sky and BT sports coverage, it is possible to hire the pub's Vale Vault for a VIP sports package. There is also newly installed interactive darts. Saturday live music is performed along with other events during the week.
