Warm, friendly and welcoming local pub situated on a main road just on the outskirts of town. The clientele are drawn mainly from the local community, supplemented by passing trade. Well worth dropping in if you are in the area. Pub was closed from August 2018 and re-opened on 12th December 2018 and is now run by Keith Parks. The Plough serves both drinkers and diners and no part of the pub is reserved for either. The Plough serves up to six real ales, drawn from two National Breweries and four smaller breweries, one of whom will always be the Uttoxeter Brewing Company. This pub runs two darts teams on Monday and Wednesday. Awards: 'Rising Star' March 2019. Winter pub of the season 2021 & 2022. Changing Beers will vary but will normally include one of a local nature.
