A free house at the heart of the local community, comprising a taproom, the main lounge area, a pool room and a side room suitable for functions. Outside is a sunny seating area. There is a popular quiz with supper on Wednesdays, occasional live music at weekends, other events and free grub Friday teatimes. The 229 Leeds-Huddersfield bus is 10 minutes walk away.
