Two-roomed traditional pub located next to the theatre and opposite the railway station. It comprises a traditional public bar with a games area to the left of the entrance, a very comfortable lounge to the right and a centrally located serving area. Although there are a total of six hand-pulls on the two bars, usually only up to three or four real ales are available. Many fine prints adorn the walls. In the lounge, the numerous TV screen often show the latest football matches and horse racing. Pool is free on Tuesdays.
