Reopened as an independent pub in October 2024 with a separate 12 room hotel next door.

A very welcome addition to the pub scene in Bruton with up to five changing cask ales in pins on cooled stillage sourced from local brewers.

The layout has the main bar to the left and a smaller ‘lounge’ bar to the right with a wood burning stove and games area with darts and table football.

The landlord Piers is a CAMRA member and a keen supporter of local and small independent brewers and will usually have beers from Flower Pots brewery and Otter along with two real and/or traditional style ciders .
