The Mexican themed Prickly Pear closed again in Sep 2023 due to major structural problems with the building. Reopened Jan 2026.

Situated in the middle of town The Prickly Pear is a food orientated 2022 re-imagining of the Grade II listed Bruton Castle. The Castle hosted an eclectic mix of music, film and comedy events.
