Historic Interest

It was not recognised as a pub for many years, having a silver service waitress service from the early 1980's and possibly before. In 2010 it was serving a guest beer from the limited Punch Taverns range and was considered a non core pub . From 2012 it had two handpumps on the bar, but often only one beer was available until mid 2014 when that disappeared too. It went downhill towards the end with hooded youths lurking in the bushes when you visited. Around 2014 Camra were asked if it was a suitable place for booking a wedding, er no!
