Re-opened August 3rd 2026 by Neil, Jason and Pat. They arrive with much experience of running Thwaites pubs. Originally a terrace of cottages, now two contrasted bars, one a lounge cum dining area the other a public cum sports bar. The letting rooms are being refurbished as is the kitchen. Both will be in operation soon. Music events will be planned, keep an eye on Facebook for details. A section of the car park has picnic tables where you can enjoy the sun. The pub is owned by Thwaites despite the lack of livery.
