Situated a short walk from the railway station in the heart of Harlington, this low beamed watch your head traditional village pub was first licensed in 1790 and has listings of landlords from then until the present. Six varying ales are available, often from Tring, Woodforde's and Oakham. The food is reasonably priced with themed food nights. The railway station and bus service along with a range of country walks make this a popular stop-off.

The first recognised English National Steeplechase took place on Monday 8 March 1830 started immediately in front of the pub
