Refurbished to a high standard in July/August 2024 and resorted to its previous name, the White Lion. There’s a large room to the left of the main entry which contains the bar, several large screen TV’s showing sport, games machines and has music playing. The smaller room to the right is the restaurant. Food is available with plans to offer Indian tapas in the bar at all times and a full Indian menu in the restaurant in the evening. Real ale is normally available but as this is a new start-up it does run out on occasion.
