Large roadside pub that stands in the heart of the village. One changing cask beer from a local brewery. After a short period as the Woodlands, it reopened in November 2024 after refurbidhment and with its original name. The lounge on the right of the entrance has bench seating round two walls, chesterfields, log burner, an attractive sloping bar counter and a tasteful largely dark green and cream colour scheme. The sports-oriented public on the left has a pool table in the middle of the room, dart boards in an alcove and a big TV screen.
