Multi room pub with a popular drinking corridor. Constantly changing beers are from micro breweries with always a LocAle; the guest beers are charged at the same price regardless of strength. To the rear is a beer garden with BBQ in summer. Above the front window look for the 'Horse and Gig for hire'. The Market is popular for meetings of various clubs, societies, and walking groups and stands next door to the Elsecar Heritage Centre on the closed Dearne and Dove Canal and plenty of scenic countryside. Note Winter hours open at 3pm Mon-Thurs and Noon Fri, Sat, Sun.
