This is a large grade ll listed pub in the central town square next to the River Ancholme. It has a large 'U' shaped bar with frequent live bands at weekends. There are sports TVs in all areas. Clean toilets.

This is a lively venue and well managed by an enthusiastic manager and his friendly staff. Whilst there are no cask beers the Guinness is good.
