This typical working man’s pub can be found at the top end of this old mining village. Set on its own, this grand old style building has a number of features, namely a large spacious bar, allowing for a lounge area at the front with two handpumps, but currently with no real ale, and a games area, pool and darts. Plasma screens show a wide range of live sporting events from football, rugby, golf and horse racing. A friendly atmosphere is complemented by the live music nights every Saturday and Sunday,
