Large country-house style pub in expansive grounds at end of driveway from road.

Essentially a family-friendly carvery/pizza restaurant (part of the Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery chain) but bar service (ie drinks only) is available.

The handpumps have been removed, so there is no cask ale.

Lots of nooks and crannies as well as open plan areas.

Large beer garden to rear and ample car parking to front.

Historic Interest

Built early 19th century to profit from the building and use of the Grand Junction canal.
