The newest pub in the street but commemorating the name of a pub which is fondly remembered in the Old Market Place before it was demolished in the usual short-sighted way in which council’s brains often work. Naturally, the name is its only resemblance but is patronised by just the same type of characters as the original. Comprising two rooms in the bar/lounge style.
