Rebranded by Greene King as part of its Metropolitan Pub Co chain. A one level venue with brick archways between the bar and dining areas. Fourteen handpumps are split evenly between interesting cask ales and ciders. Third pint tasting paddles are available. The rear section has three dartboards hosting frequent tournaments. There is varied seating and tables throughout including some leather benches. The food offering comprises hot bar snacks and substantial main meals. The background music is unobtrusive allowing easy conversation.
