Micropub opened in the summer of 2023 by the owners of the Serious Brewing Company based in Rochdale. The premises has had a changing life having previously been a betting shop and tobacconists among other things while the name Whitewell comes from a nearby brook. The location is ideal for the 464 Rochdale - Accrington and 483 Burnley to Rawtenstall bus routes a few minutes walk away. Other Breweries beers are sold.
