Situated opposite Durham University’s Bill Bryson Library, this pub closed in April 2018 in its former guise as the New Inn.

It reopened totally refurbished and with its new name in October 2018 and was selling cask ale (3 lines).

After a major refurbishment in 2025 cask ale was removed.
