A large pub which, although having a public bar complete with wood burner, is very much food led. There are three separate dining spaces, a dining room, a lounge area, and an attractive conservatory looking out over the large lawn. It's also possible to have a view of the remains of Whittington Castle which is very close. All in all, the whole thing is done out comfortably and tastefully. However, the downside is that the beer is expensive for the locality.

The former off-sales window is noteworthy.
