The White Lion pub in Houghton-le-Spring pub reopened under the Dorbiere umbrella, following a £500,000 refurbishment. It has a large L shaped bar area with several TV screens.ls... There is a food menu , afternoon teas, live sports and will be a place for families to visit. Breakfast served 0900-1130 .

There is a large pub garden at the rear. From the garden can be seen impressive large murals on the back of the pub.
