A warm and friendly welcome from licensees Bob and Hazel awaits visitors and locals alike at this traditional village pub, where oak beams and an open fire add to the ambiance during chilly winter evenings. Whilst in summer, a superb patio area is decked with colourful hanging baskets.

Situated approx 7 miles west of Whitby, just off the coast road, the pub sits in glorious countryside, nestled between the coast and the moors.

A full programme of events are organised, with something happening most days, including quoits in summer. Dominoes, quiz nights and bingo nights are also organised, whilst local charities are also supported.
