Built in 1957 to replace the old pub which was demolished for redevelopment of the area to a plan by architect J E Reeves for Mitchells & Butlers. It consists of a public bar to the front with an assembly room to the rear. It was sold into private hands in 1988. Darts available and occasional live music.
