One of Edinburgh’s premier late night bars in the heart of the historic Old Town which can be accessed from both South Bridge via steep stairs or Niddrie Street. Very much a venue for live music, as is reflected in many posters of famous musicians. The interior has many alcoves and the band area is at one end of the performance room. In addition, there are three small areas down more steps which can be quieter but may need to be booked. No food other than simple bar snacks/light bites is served. Children are not admitted. Cash preferred.
