Standing in the centre of the town, which has links to the 19th century weaving industry, the Weavers has been listed in the Guide for over 25 years. The single room has modern and comfortable furnishings and is decorated with black and white pictures of film stars. There is an ever-changing range of ales featuring beers from breweries in the region, and some that are rarely seen in Scotland. A range of imported bottled beers is also available in bottles and cans.

The local Branch's Lanarkshire Pub of the Year for 2025.
