This small former 18th-century watermill set in beautiful surroundings, has been nicely refurbished to function as a pub downstairs, with the former mill loft upstairs becoming a separate, stylish à la carte restaurant. Steps lead past the working water wheel into a single room albeit with distinct drinking and dining areas and a few comfy sofas. The bar has the business-end mechanism of the 18th-century waterwheel on view inside. The pub offers good pub grub. An extensive beer garden straddles the mill stream making a pleasant seating area. Children and dogs are welcome. Live entertainment of various types features on Friday evenings. St Erth station is about 15min walk away.
