Sports club for elite scholars and Oxford blues. Founded in 1863 and originally in rooms above J H Vincent, a printer, at 90 High Street. Moved to 6/7 High Street in 1894 and to present address in 1931. Members are elected for life. Finally admitted women to membership in March 2016. Open in university term time only.
