Two-roomed pub very close to the town centre dating from 1845 with a former brew house, a garden and smoking facilities at the back. A large public car park is located at the rear. Large selection of beers, in Cask, Keg & Bottle.

Bar snacks are available at any time and traditional lunches on Sundays. Steak night is first Wednesday and pie night is the first Tuesday of the month.

Pork pies, Scotch eggs and cobs available from a local butcher.

Beers are from local and regional breweries and sometimes a real cider is available.
