As the name may suggest, the theme of this corner pub is the highest military decoration awarded for valour "in the face of the enemy" bestowed on those from Liverpool regiments and there is a commemorative board celebrating their achievements. The bar offers some very comfortable leather seating which is at a premium during the busy evenings especially if there is a live match on.
