This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

Originally "The Sanctuary" a smart up-market bar and restaurant in modern style, converted to an Italian restaurant in Autumn 2014. The former reception to the Saxondale hospital.

Historic Interest

Originally the reception for the Nottinghamshire County Lunatic Asylum, which opened on the 29th July 1902 and replaced the asylum in Sneinton, Nottingham. Later became known as Saxondale Hospital (Nottinghamshire County Council).
