Lively, one-bar L-shaped corner pub with a spartan interior and popular with young clientele and ex-footballers. Up to four cask ales mostly from the established local breweries. Food is also served upstairs, and in the courtyard or garden. Breakfast is served at weekends, with and a roast on Sundays including Norfolk beef and pork, chicken and homemade nut-roast. Children's Menu always available.

The last pints of S&P Bitter were sold here November 1987. At 80p a pint, once sold out, the last link to the city's brewing industry was replaced with Ruddles Best. The S&P name was revived in 2013 when Andy Keeley bought the trademark and opened a brewery at Horsford.
