The Town Street Tap is situated on the main road in Duffield on the right as you travel towards Milford opposite Birds the bakers shop. It is a new Micro pub for Tollgate Brewery which is based on the Calke Estate near Ticknall. Of the six changing real ales that are offered by table service, two are from the Tollgate range and at least one is a dark beer. Four pint take-out containers are available as well as Tollgate bottled beers.

It has a nicely decorated interior with the modern style high tables.

Walkers with boots are welcome. The rear pub entrance and toilets have level access.

Free tea and coffee is offered for drivers. Snacks extend to scotch eggs, pork pies, scratchings and crisps. The pub is hoping to install a proper bar in 2026.
