A Grade II listed timber framed building dating from the 16th Century, with the name first documented in a lease signed in 1665. Low-ceilinged inside with nooks and crannies and period features. Paved garden and car park at rear, several buses stop right outside, and next to the fish & chip shop. Unfortunately no real ale. Planning application for 2 houses on car park submitted November 2018. More news and updates welcome.
