Traditional Canalside pub in the city centre dating back to 1821, located on Gas St close to Broad St. Easily accessible by the Metro tram service. Pub has been closed but has recently been rescued and re-opened by local boaters. Pub is accessible by both Street and canal level, street level is only accessible at weekends at present. Current owners have plans in the future to increase the range of beers and ciders available as well as introduce live music, open mic and comedy nights. The pub may feature in forth coming Peaky Blinders film.
