An oak-beamed 15th-century inn with a single bar featuring wood-burning fires at each end. There are usually three real ales after the change of ownership (JULY 24). Now a joint venture between the new freehold owners and Utopian Brewery. The on-site brewery is due to be brought back into action by Utopian's head brewer for small batch brews.

Good quality food made with local produce is served in the bar or separate dining room as well as the NEW outdoor pizza oven, which replaces the bar menu MON evenings.

Refreshing choice of draught products from independent brewers.

Live music takes place regularly and the pub has opened two letting rooms upstairs.

On-street parking and pay car park behind the CooP down the main high street.
