Situated in a small quiet village, the pub has a large car park and is popular with cyclists and walkers. It is a multi-room and family-friendly community pub with the dining area to the rear offering themed food nights. Local bridge, domino, pool and darts teams are resident.

The central bar features up to five cask ales with a discount on Mondays at 5pm.
