A popular traditional town center pub consisting of a long narrow bar with various areas offering comfy seating, high stools and traditional tables. A sheltered outdoor area provides additional drinking space. Well placed for local transport the pub used to be called the South Western as did the railway. There are several screens showing a variety of sports, game machines and a dartboard. The guest beer is usually Timothy Taylor Landlord.
