Situated very close to the Anderton Boat Lift on the Trent and Mersey Canal and with its own moorings, the pub has a bright, modern feel to it with separate vault, lounge bar, and dining room plus a garden overlooking the canal. Northwich Community Woodlands is nearby offering the opportunity to stroll through Marbury and Anderton Country Parks. Campervans are allowed by arrangement on the car park. Refurbished throughout Autumn 2024.

** Punch Taverns have given the licensee notice to quit from end Aug 2026 at which point the pub will switched from leased to a Punch managed house**
