"St Cedd’s Catholic Social Club is one of the few Independent Social Clubs that remain open in the area. The club has served both the parish and wider community for many many years and has played an integral part in keeping the community together and providing a safe social setting for family gatherings, parties, meetings and different events whilst regulars use the club in preference to local pubs as its gives them a safe social setting to come and spend time with others."
