In 1966 internal alterations saw the three rooms at the front of the pub knocked into one; however in 1976 a wall was rebuilt to make two rooms again. In 1996 the pub was turned into a Harvester Inn concentrating on food and the rooms were knocked back into one.
In 2025, the pub was transformed into Marston's 'Two Door' brand, offering a 'locals bar' and a 'family lounge'. There is a partition wall separating the two distinct areas.
