A first rate place to eat and drink excellent well kept beer. Emphasis is on the food but the beer selection is varied and interesting. Set in an old country house with gardens to suit it offers a relaxing oasis just between the towns of Formby and Ainsdale. Weekends can get busy for food but a very pleasant patio is a welcome retreat. Dogs welcome on a lead.
