Website

This traditional inn supports a popular, mostly local, bar trade, with an area reserved for drinkers. A converted 1788 coach house, the single large L-shaped room has alcoves and log fires to give it a more cosy and intimate feel. A wide variety of food is offered all day at reasonable prices. May open earlier on certain days depending on local demand, so phone to check if you want to visit before midday. The guest handpump features an ever-changing ale from the Mitchells & Butlers Vintage Inn list. [Update 14 Mar 2025: "Now only selling Doom Bar".]
